Ring*Con 2010: The Day Henry faced the Sunlight

A little but highly dramatic poem from Ring*Con 2010. Mark and the other actors were asking for a vampire name and a very important moment in the "life" of a vampire. The names in brackets stand for the order of persons declaring the lines.

The day Henry faced sunlight

(Craig, Mark, Lori, all)
Henry woke up in his coffin, one eve
He looked down to his velvet sleeve
He said: "I have to get out of this coffin, I must leave."
The day Henry faced the sunlight

(Mark, Lori, Jed, all)
Henry started to feel a vampiric urge
He said: "I got to spend some of my money, I have an urge.
I have this horrible wolf friends, I feel I must purge."

So he got out of his coffin and went looking for those dogs.
Even though he was dressed only in slippers and togs
He was dutch, by the way, wearing some clogs

He was going quite [swell], so that he was hit by a truck
His beautiful suit got covered in muck
His fangs into his bottom lip were stuck

Just then a wolf leapt up and went "Hissss!"
Henry liked the smell of his blood - what bliss
He bared his fangs and said: "Ya fancy a kiss?" The day Henry faced the sunlight

The wolf, he led him outside, it was dawn
The birds, they were chirping, eating worms on the lawn
Henry fancied a big cup of corn
The day Henry faced the sunlight

The sun began to creep up on his cape
He said: "I hope it stops before it reaches my neck-nape.
I don't wanna die, I wanna find out what happens in the next Harry Potter with Snape!"
